There's also an advanced audio editor and access to a royalty-free music library, along with a variety of helpful video tutorials. Pinnacle Studio Ultimate also includes a wealth of features for professional-level users, including multi-camera editing (for up to 6 cameras), split-screen video, color grading, motion title graphics, and 360-degree video editing. The program's entry-level features include timeline and storyboard editing, as well as quick start project templates. That makes it ideal for a wide range of users, from beginners to more advanced users. Pinnacle actually offers three programs in the Studio line, of which Ultimate is the most powerful – while still being easy to use.
Pinnacle Studio Ultimate is another high-end video-editing program that functions as an alternative to iMovie for Windows 10 and previous versions. DaVinci Resolve Studio, with even more pro-level features, is available for $295. It's a full-featured video editing program with a relatively steep learning curve that lets you create truly professional video results.ĭaVinci Resolve is free and runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. A quick export tool enables easy uploads to YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, and other social media.īecause of its advanced features, Resolve is not the best choice for beginning users. The program includes a large number of broadcast-quality special effects and transitions as well as 2D and 3D animated titles and text. It combines video editing, color correction, motion graphics, and audio post-production into a single interface. DaVinci Resolve is a powerful video editing program that goes well beyond the functionality offered by iMovie, which makes it popular with more experienced and demanding users. My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.Because you can't download iMovie for Windows, you can choose even more powerful options. I have zkill3d Mac users in my group, but you really want to do these things as a GM and just pull them out your sleeve. Somewhere I found someone trying to make a PC version (think it was here) beggining of this year, but no progress was reported though. If found out about this (Mac version) when I thought that somebody out there in the geekiverse must have put down the effort. Hotaru no Hishou a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all. This is a really handy visual aide for games though. I've been putting off advancing my PbP game partially due to wanting to edit my crawl properly with audio and all that jazz (and thereby learning some video editing skills). Oddly enough, there's already a thread about it here somewhere that's where I heard about it. "Oh no, that's just something we used to tell people."
"Don't you have to have mini-clorinies in your blood or something to be a jedi?"
If any of you Mac users out there are having trouble compiling the images with the latest version of iMovie, let me know and I'll write up a guide to produce the finished movie since the creator's site doesn't have an updated version of the how-to. This is my most recent creation using it so I thought that you'd enjoy it. I use a combination of iPhoto '09 and iMovie '09 to complie the images into the final video. I've used the tool in the past back when I was running D6 and I think that my editing skills have improved greatly.
Yes, it's for Mac users only but the results are pretty impressive. Anyways, we're playing the Dawn of Defiance game published by WotC - which means that it's Saga Edition and not my beloved D6 - and I told the GM that I could create an opening crawl for the game using the tool found at this webstie. It's been some time since I've posted here but, I've gotten back into the Star Wars RPG scene only recently (my first time as a player).
